Kichi Vrek

If pure enthusiasm and a drive to succeed could pay the bills this young Raen would have not a worry in the world.

History

While her origins are somewhat of a mystery to even herself, Kichi was lucky enough to be taken in by an adoptive family who treated her as one of their own. Even going so far as to welcome her into their family business when she grew old enough to lend a hand.
They provided her with not only a roof over her head, food in her belly and what few skills she took to heart, but also a deep seated ideology to care for and protect those around her.
However, much to the distaste of the adoptive mother it soon became apparent, as the Raen grew into adulthood that she held little passion for the business of serving tea.
This ultimately combined with a healthy dose of a naïve craving for adventure is what led this young Raen to head out on a tentative mission to carve her own path in the world, with little more than the clothes on her back, a meagre purse of Gil and vague plan to make her name.Shortly after arriving in Thanalan she met many a new face, and of course was presented with a plethora of new paths to walk. However it was a fellow Hingan that eventually took the young Raen under her wing.

Upon reaching the dusty streets of Ul'dah, Kichi met many an new face, some being less than friendly while others all too keen to take her under their wing.
Indeed it was one of the latter that Kichi eventually threw her trust in with. A fellow Hingan who had created a little slice of home in the desert. A woman by the name of Vrek who seemed willing to teach the young Raen how to handle herself, how to protect herself and more importantly how to fight and welcomed her into her new family.
Having spent a considerable amount of time with her new family she has become both far more confident in her abilities but also, oddly enough far more reserved in public settings. Time will tell if she comes out of her shell once more.

Roleplay Hooks

Common

1. Perhaps you came in to her families teahouse an recognise her as the daydreaming server, or perhaps she talked your ear off while you were trying to relax?
2. Often seen perusing market stalls for books and trinkets. With an eye for both the unusual, and oft maligned objects of little worth, there is a chance you could catch her attention with some knick-knack or another.3. Often accompanied by a young puppy, while she will do all in her power to keep him from pestering you, perhaps her efforts just weren't enough and you're now the proud owner of a slobbered shoe or an excitable dog chasing around your ankle, or the dreaded thievery of a snack.4. There is a slim chance you've seen the Raen training, two sharp blades in her hands, or perhaps a bow. Maybe even a tome in hand to complicate matters even further. What would a young Inkeepers assistant need to train such things for?Uncommon1. As harmless and often times nervous as this Raen may appear, those with the affinity to see it or sense it cannot deny that she appears to be proficient with magics, indeed, should they look a little closer they may even detect a faint presence of something darker.2. Accepting as she is of 'most' individuals, as quick to offer a smile and a word of comfort, it is undeniable to those in the know that Kichi appears to gravitate towards those of a dubious professional nature. Even in the face of deliberate wrongdoing she appears to be forced to make a conscious effort to react appropriately. If you have an idea for an approach please just contact me and we can work something out!
